A book about being a coach, not how-to coach
Mindful awareness lies at the heart of meaningful, life-changing results for you and your clients. In this liberating journey, Awareness is Enough explores the art of being fully present and its profound impact on the coaching relationship. With her characteristic warmth and transparency, Billie Frances invites readers to pause, reflect, and go deep to discover fresh meaning and purpose in their work and life.

About the Author
It seems no matter what I've undertaken, I find myself in the role of a teacher.
In 1996 I discovered coaching and began my coaching business alongside separate roles as therapist and a spiritual counselor. Then in 2000, I felt a familiar tug to teach - this time, to teach the unique coaching method that had swirled together from my own studies and experience. The Mindful Coach Certification was born out of that calling.
When I shared with a friend that I was inspired to write a book, he assumed it would be about coaching techniques and tools. Instead, I wanted to be part of an exploration and journey into not knowing; into questions rather than answers, into a process of change that's always beginning anew, and to invite readers into the deeply vulnerable space of awareness.
The ideas in the book would remain unwritten without the talented Terri Leichty, who listened to my musings, babbling, and heart and transcribed them into beautifully written words. I am forever grateful.

Terri Leichty's passion for writing was ignited at around age nine when she received a diary as a birthday gift. Over the course of 30+ years, she diligently documented her personal growth journey in countless journals. It was only after accumulating a wealth of experiences and insights that Terri found the courage to share her narrative, first through blogging and later in her 2017 book, "Body Love | Food Peace: Ten Practices to End the War."
A significant turning point in Terri's writing career came through her collaboration with Billie Frances on the book "Awareness is Enough: Reflection on Being a Coach," which saw publication in 2023.
Terri seeks to collaborate on empowering and inspiring projects that elevate awareness and foster personal development in the broader world. As a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, she serves as a facilitator for the Mindful Coach Certification training at Guiding Mindful Change, a program providing education and support for coaching professionals.
